There should be a way to generate an automated newsletter from Scoutbook for the units. And then let leaders select when it is sent out to all scouts and parents. Then decide which information is sent out, such as payment log info, calendar info like the next 3 or 4 events with RSVP status and status of advancement and etc.
I really like this idea. One of our units likes a 3rd party program for this reason. It can, say, on the first of the month send out what is happening this month, your RSVP status, and your health form status (when does your AB and C expire).
