I’m hoping that the intelligent IT people at Scoutbook will formulate a logarithm for automatic tabulation of hiking, camping, swimming, etc. activities for the NOA awards like TroopMaster does, as we have found that some boys are missing out on these important awards due to human error input.

In what base should that logarithm be? (Sorry, couldn’t resist the math joke.)
I honestly think that these achievements are best tracked by the scouts themselves, in their own diaries/handbooks. But, the challenge for me is setting time aside at meetings to let scouts know about these opportunities. But that’s where human error gets corrected, getting the scouts in the loop.

At the bare minimum, earned merit badges that are applicable to the award should auto populate.
