Our District held a Stem /NOVA event and I can enter the awards for the Cub except for the AOLs. I can see the awards but not edit. The Quick entry list all the scouts except the AOLs.
Suggestions.
Go to the Scout’s Awards page in Legacy Scoutbook and try to enter the Nova awards there.
In Scoutbook, it does not show most of the Awards any longer for AOLs.
@AmeeBailey-Speck - based on what I see in scouting.org the award requirements stop at Webelos and have not been updated since 2022. And as they are no longer supported by National I would not expect updates in scoutbook or scoutbook+
I have never heard of a NOVA for an AOL

Our District is still supporting NOVA and all other dens can log the award. Never heard of AOLs getting NOVA is because they were always Webelos until this year! Hence the glitch. This is not the only glitch we have for the AOLs. The transition has been very messy for AOLs.

@AmeeBailey-Speck - well since your district/council is supporting NOVA then they should be able to enter the awards. Since they are no longer supported by National there was nothing added or changed in the program since 2022.
The Nova page says Councils must follow the Nova program as written and no changes are allowed. As of June 1, 2024, AOL Scouts are not Webelos and there are no Nova awards for AOL, I would say they are not eligible to earn them. I recommend discussing this with your Council Advancement Committee. Your Council registrars should be able to enter any awards you are unable to enter.
