BCC in Messaging Not Available but Not in Change Log

Messaging in Scoutbook Plus does not have the BCC capability as mentioned here ( March 16, 2026 Scoutbook Change Log ) but it is also not referenced as being removed in any other Change Log post that I can find.

It’s against netiquette to not BCC, especially in a pretty large unit. Any word on this change?

It is a known issue. Watch the change log for an announcement of the fix.

Any estimation on when there will be feature-parity to Scoutbook Legacy with this function? It wasn’t listed as a “Except for the following” but frankly this is a deal-breaker for using Messaging. I’m not blasting both adult and youth email addresses to the entire unit…just asking for email phishing and other troubles, not to mention the backlash I’ll get from parents who know that not BCC’ing people just isn’t good practice.
