The video upload option was a nice way for the Scout to upload a requirement for his merit badges. Particularly when the requirement says demonstrate and the merit badge counselor cannot always be present. This option disappeared not long after Scoutbook went online. I realize storage space may be the primary reason. But it would be nice if this option could return.

One way that our scouts have addressed this is to embed links to documents/photos/videos on Google drive in the comment sections. That solves the cloud storage issue, and makes it easier for the youth to access their own documents down the road in case Scoutbook changes supported formats, etc.
