We have a leader who would like to enter camping dates, invitees and then mark attendees after. I have assigned him as the outdoor activity chair to give him access. He is saying that if he goes to set up an event , he can only put scouts that he was previously connected to when he was listed only as a patrol advisor). When I go into his connections it is showing him as connected to all. What do we need to do so that he is able to put all members in the troop as invitees & mark those outside of his patrol as attendees?
I suspect that it just takes some time for the updated role and connections to propagate from Scoutbook to SB+.
For the calendar, according to the help wiki, the Scoutbook Unit Outdoor/Activities Chair should have access to create, add invitees, and mark attendance in the calendar.

For activity logs, the help wiki similarly says that Scoutbook Unit Outdoor/Activities Chair should have access:

The other possibility is that the scouter needs to log out of Scoutbook/SB+ and then log back in. The system may not have pulled the updated connections/permissions on their end.
If it’s still not working after 24-48 hours, they can try in an incognito/private browsing window to see if it’s something in one of their settings/plug-ins that is interfering.
We changed this a week ago & made sure to give it the 24-48 hour window before he tried…
I will check about the sign in thing with him & if we are lucky this will fix the problem…
Thank you.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, they could post to the thread, and the SUAC folks may be able to coordinate a screens share or something to gather more information directly.
