Some topics that need a longer automatic closure or no automatic closure are apparently being closed by a default seven-day automatic closure rule. Can topics like
be unlocked and taken off automatic closure.
Where should the unlocking requests be posted or sent to?
It is impossible for me, and sometimes inappropriate, to post to all topics I have created on a weekly basis.
Other solutions? Move to knowledge base? If so how? And how do I maintain the topic?
Why must they close at all?
I.e. 2 years from now a new scouter has a Question, but wants clarification, why can’t they ask their question?
I think github allows you to reopen closed topics, or posters to a thread can close them, but reopened later by someone else. I see no need to automatically close a topic.
