MB says it was approved by the Scout Leader, so I am unable to invite a MBC to approve it. Can you help Please? I have this going with M. Badges for multiple troop members
@MarcoAbdullah I would need to test - but once a MB is approved the Process is over according to the GTA as not all MBCs use Scoutbook. So you are trying to invite an MBC to an approved Merit Badge? What is happening?
Yes. I added few MBs to all my troop since we are in the process of working on them. I ticked “approve” thinking that this is the Unit Scout Leader approval, and that now it’s MBC turn to approve/award it. Now I can not invite MBCs to approve them since it is already completed. I can’t also void /delete them to restart the process
Unapprove, then save.
If all of the individual requirements are checked off, then you will need to remove at least one of them to keep them from “rolling up” and marking the merit badge as completed overall.
If these are MBs the Scouts are just starting on, click Initial Unit Leader Signature. Leader Approved indicates the MB has been completed and the Unit Leader has had a discussion wiht the Scout about the MB experience. As you have discovered, if you want the MBC to mark the MB Counselor Approved in Scoutbook, it must be done before Leader Approved.
