Cub scout parent (not leader) is able to mark adventures as "approved"

on the wolf rank requirements page (where you can see all 5 required + 1 elected + youth protection adventures) it has the blue “approved” check mark; is marked completed by the parent; is marked ‘leader approved’ (also by the parent who is not a registered leader. )

when you go one step further to a specific adventure, the ‘earned’ box has a blue check mark, marked completed by the parent, marked approved by the parent. what’s additionally weird is the approved date is before the completed date.

The BSA Cub Scout Program Office decided that since parents are Akela, they shall be allowed to approve adventures. Scoutbook is working per BSA policy.
