Cubmaster lost permissions - shows as "term expired"

Leader showing in my.scouting.org roster but not in Scoutbook plus, in the permissions manager he shows that “term expires”

Leader is current, shows expiration date in the future.

member id: 141058217

Thank you!

@Keturah_Kitty_Holmes when was the position renewed? Yesterday?

December 2025, he is valid until 1/2027

No - the registration for Cubmaster was renewed sometime this month it looks like.

He renewed online in December. I can send a screenshot of the receipt. It kept saying term expired, so he contacted council and they said it had something to do with his membership in another council, (he is a leader in both councils but pays two separate memberships since councils are not able to “talk” to each other). They then did something to his account. But as of this week, he is no longer able to see anything in scoutbook plus. Every other website shows him as an active leader. But he is not able to update anything in scoutbook plus and when I go into it , it says that we no longer have a cubmaster and that he is not an active leader and states “term expired”.

Just telling me “No” doesn’t help the problem we are having. I am assuming that that means you want us to wait since you just said “No”.

@Keturah_Kitty_Holmes - if you are a Key 3 or Key Delegate; go to your My.Scouting roster and scroll down to the Membership Renewal Orders section and expand. Search for the person’s name, make sure the updated is for the current renewal cycle (not last years) check the status. It should be Complete. If it shows as Closed that means Renewal could not be completed either for payment issues or the member decided to withdraw their renewal.

I have switched the user’s member ID number back to 141058217 and updated the council number. You might need to wait for the overnight sync to run.
