When we were told to use the new IA calendar last fall, I was very happy to see that I could select “Den Meeting” as an event type when only the “Pack xxx” calendar was selected. This behaviour has now changed and I have to have Den calendars selected in order to make Den meetings. In my Pack (and many that I have talked to nationwide) currently runs our Den meetings all at the same time. Can we get the ability to select Den Meeting back from the “Pack” calendar?
@JasonKracht the event type is only for admins and it decides who is invited. So if it is a universal Den meeting - just use the pack meeting type - only admins see that - users see what you name it
I want to make this user friendly for the next admins of our unit. I can see frustration brewing if they see Den meetings in some views, but not others.
If we put Den Meeting type on the pack calendar, people will be confused because they can’t select the den the meeting is for. You have 2 options,
- Select all Den calendars for the single Den Meeting event
- Use Pack meeting to have it listed on the Pack calendar.
