Duplicate Patrols — Can't Delete

I have two patrols that are duplicated in Scoutbook Legacy, and don’t appear in Scoutbook Plus except for when I run reports or listed next to the scout in the roster as a +1 patrol — but ONLY when not filtered by patrols.

Here is the scoutbook legacy duplicate. I can no longer end memberships in the Cheesy Pigeon patrol:

Here is what appears in Scoutbook Plus when not sorted by patrol:

Here’s evidence of the duplicates that I see in the reports:

But in the roster when I sort by patrol, only Cheesy Pigeons comes up, “Cheesy Pigeon” does not — so I can’t delete it. We also have this problem with two instances of “New Scout Patrol.”

I am a key 3 delegate so I should have the ability to delete these duplicate patrols.

How can I delete these duplicates?

Thanks!

Maybe look in Duplicate Patrols for a solution? It seems people had this problem before.

Yep, I read through a few similar threads but didn’t see a resolution that matched my issue. I did find the coffee and doughnut series of events humorous.

@KathrynAlva - if things are correct I’m plus you can ignore legacy scoutbook. I would recommend a reset filter in plus when viewing the roster.

These is a story to fix old duplicate patrols that users made still using legacy.

Resetting filters fixed it! I hit that button and the dupes showed up in the roster. Thank you!

One quirk that I discovered is that I was able to remove all the scouts, but I wasn’t able to remove the adults. Adult admin roles were still assigned in scoutbook legacy, so I added end date to those and was able to successfully remove all adults, then delete the duplicate patrol.

That’s good intel for the next person who runs into this issue. Thanks for sharing it!

@KathrynAlva - that is good info. Good to clean up the legacy stuff before it is finally done.
