When a merit badge counselor sends an email related to scouts completing requirements, I typically add it as a note in the ‘quick entry’ in Scoutbook. However, I’ve started to experience crashes whenever I try to enter notes. I’m not sure if the notes are too long, or if certain characters are preventing the insertion of the note. I recently removed the header information (date, time, and email info) from the note I was trying to post, and it succeeded.
Can someone offer some insight into what is happening? I would like to continue to post these notes, but I need to know what characters require removal otherwise the process is too tedious.
