Trying to add notes when completing individual merit badge requirements for some Scouts to explain an anomaly, and the system won’t save the record. If I remove the notes, it works fine.

It is a statement. The software did not allow me to save the merit badge requirement completion record when I put in a note - when I deleted the note, it saved fine.
Perhaps you could try and see if you get the same result.

when you say it will not save what do you mean? does it save but not the note? does it just spin? My first test worked fine. What is BSA# of a scout that this happened to (no names)?
