When logging on to my.scouting.org and selecting the dropdown menu, a strange number appears under “organization.” See the image below. Any ideas on why this happens? (It disappears after selecting an organization.)
@RobertReeves2 - that is not an error but a user GUID - you can safely ignore it.
That is the Units Unique Identifier (GUID)
Well, it does cause considerable confusion for some folks. I get asked about it regularly.
@RobertReeves2 - well you can tell them to select the appropriate unit org from the dropdown. If it is that much of an issue you could ask your council to enter a membercare ticket about it.
