The Event Description field was always an optional field but I was just trying to enter an event in Internet Advancement and in the importation Event Description was toggled as now a required field. Can we return this to optional I think it’s a waste of my time to have explain what each event is. Especially since I use the calendar just to keep track of attendance and don’t send reminders.

Agreed. Some things, like a holiday, we have no description.
We will pass this on to the developers but as a workaround you should be able to just enter a . in the description field and get past the check.
