Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I searched for this “how to” and could find nothing newer than 5 years ago that is related.
I have a very old patrol in both Scoutbook Legacy and Scoutbook Plus. I’ve searched in both “sides” of Scoutbook, and cannot find any way to delete that patrol. That patrol shows it is empty, there are no leaders and no scouts listed in that patrol.
I am a Troop Admin, and the Troop COR. (key 3).
(Council 421 - Troop 200 B, Patrol Name Jackalope)
In Scoutbook Plus, I cannot select this patrol, because it’s empty - therefore “Group/Edit Patrol” does nothing.
In Scoutbook Legacy, I select my Troop, then select the Patrol I want to delete. Nothing shows to edit or delete.
Please advise how to do this in 2025! Which Scoutbook should be used?
I simply do not see what you referenced. “Organize Roster by patrols?” Attached is a screenshot of what I see, what am I missing? Note: I cannot “select” Jackalope (the patrol I want deleted)
Yeah, I suspected that. I am the COR (Charter Org Rep). Many years back, I somehow got associated with Troop 0226 in my District, and I cannot figure out how to disconnect that association.
How do I get configured as Troop Admin in Scoutbook Plus? For my Troop?
@DonovanMcNeil Well… never mind! Went to the store, two hours later, I cleared my Chrome Cookies and Cache… logged back in, and VOILA! There is now a Trash can next to the Jackalope patrol. I clicked the can, and it’s gone.
