Scoutbook Plus is not very useful to us without being able to attach a document. I’m trying to attach our 2026 Calendar with a revision but cannot (although I just emailed an earlier revision a few days ago via Scoutbook (legacy).

We need to attach permission slips, health forms and other documents that need to be sent to parents/guardians. If I need to go back to keeping a list of email addresses for each parent/guardian than Scoutbook/Scoutbook Plus is not very useful to me.

@DominicBonacci- the post you link to stated that this is in the backlog of development

I appreciate that and did notice that.

My reasons for posting were:

  1. Emphasize how critical this functionality is.

  2. See if there was some timeline of when we can expect this functionality.

  3. Express my frustration that this function is not already available especially if (legacy) Scoutbook is no longer going to be available.

Once it’s on the backlog list, Scouting America sets the development priorities for their IT group. Additional posts don’t seem to move the ball on priorities.

Scouting America IT doesn’t publish timelines for features or bug remediation. We just have to wait for it to turn up in the change of posts.

Unfortunately, nobody here can set the priorities for development. What SUAC has conveyed is that the intent is to port the major features from classic Scoutbook to SB+ over time.
