Hello,
Would it be possible to include the ability to insert upcoming events at the bottom of emails that we had with the ScoutBook Plug-in? This was a very useful feature.

@JosephLueck there are backlog stories for both of these. We do not know if or when IT will address them

Hopefully, they fix this soon. It really stinks to not have it.
Hopefully with enough people chiming in, this will get moved to the front log 
Unfortunately, the folks who set the priorities are not the ones who are on the boards here. We users can complain here all we want, but there’s no counter for how many of us or how frequently we complain.
The SUAC volunteers don’t drive the priorities. Like the rest of us volunteers, they’re stuck with the prioritization choices made by national.

I’d also like to be able to attach the calendar at the bottom of the email… or actual attachments… Committee meeting agendas, permission slips, flyers
The developers are working on attachments. I believe there is a story in the backlog to add upcoming events.

Yes, the email function is the absolute most frustrating thing. They should have left the old one available until the new one worked as well. I’d rather be able to add attachments (I would send things like important forms) and have upcoming events than italics and bold. The new email system is so inferior and frustrating.
You can still use Messaging in Scoutbook (legacy), if needed.
How? When I go to scoutbook.scouting.org, it directs to advancements.scouting.org.
