I was creating a tutorial for our troop on how to join existing group activities. It works fine for camping nights and hiking. However, when trying to join existing activity to add service hours, there is a bug. I found a work around but if it can be fixed, it would be nice. I excerpted a subset of the slides from my tutorial that has a work around to make it work.
The issue stems from when you attempt to add service hours, you need to click on yes/no under the question of “Was this service associated with an Eagle Scout Project?” This then results in the “type of project” field to be blank. The work around is that you can close out and attempt to join the activity again to add the service hours. The second time you do this, the type of project will pre-fill with whatever was supposed to be there and the entry will go through.
