It’s happened twice that I’ve created a copy of an event, updated the details, but when I unclick the disable reminders, the 1 hour reminder that usually automatically pops up does not and clicking on the + to add a reminder does nothing. I have to save the event then go back and add the reminders.
Did the First event have a reminder - that is a known bug as it tries to use the same unique identifier

Yes, I believe the original event did have reminders.
