Hi all, we just received last-minute notice that all of our merit badge counselors need to renew by the end of the month through my.scouting, but nobody knows how to do that. I’m not a MBC, so I can’t try it myself in my account. Are there any step-by-step directions for counselors to renew? Thanks!
@ChristopherHunt5 - when i renewed in December it was one of the listed positions that i renewed.
We renewed all our adult leaders as a batch, I wonder if that is causing some issue
@ChristopherHunt5 - quite possible if you did the renewal as the unit. The MBC is not a unit position. I would suspect that if they go to my.scouting > my applications then my renewals it will be listed there.
One of them says they see a warning : “Inactive Renewal - Pending Credit Card” in their Membership section
But their Expire Date is 12/31/2025
@ChristopherHunt5 - most likely related to the MBC position. The questions should be asked of your council.
If these are MBCs who are also registered in a unit position, I agree your council will need to resolve this.
