I am not seeing the Merit Badge Counselor tab in my profile of scoutbook plus. Is there something that I need to do to see that function?
As an ASM you do not have that permission by default - Your key 3 would need to give you the MBC List permission.
Are you looking for MB Counselor Search or the Merit Badge Counselor role in the dropdown?
If you are looking for Search, as Donovan said, your Key 3 needs to give you permission to search for MBCs via the Permissions Manager tab in Scoutbook Plus.
If you expect to see a Merit Badge Counselor role in the dropdown, it is not there because you are not registered as an MBC.
Thank you. Iām looking for the search option. I thought that would be enabled for everyone to find merit badge counselors.
The Guide to Advancement says it is the Scout is supposed to ask the Scoutmaster for MBC contact information. Scoutmasters are able to delegate this duty but since each unit handles this differently, only Key 3 have MBC search ability by default.
