Missing Roster Tab in Scoutbook Plus

My roster tab for Pack is missing in Scoutbook Plus in the left hand column. I can access the roster in Legacy but not Scoutbook Plus. I can see my Troop roster but not my Pack. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

@KatieGreenwood - do you show a pack registration in my.scouting.org ?

Yes, I do show in Pack registration in my.scouting.org

@KatieGreenwood - what is your position in the pack in my.scouting ? You have the pack selected in the dropdown in the upper right of advancements.scouting.org ?

I am a Committee Member.

I do have the Pack selected. It just opens my profile when I select it from the drop down. Roster isn’t an option. Only Calendar, Profile, Reports, Activity Logs, Forum, Scoutbook Legacy & References.

@KatieGreenwood - can you get a screen shot of the full dropdown from the upper right

@KatieGreenwood - thanks.. is an incognito session any different ? Hopefully the SUAC can find something

Oh, I didn’t think about that. I checked. The problem is the same for DuckDuckGo, Chrome and in incognito session as well. Thanks for your help exploring the situation.

@KatieGreenwood - it does seem like parent - youth roles are mixed up.

@KatieGreenwood this is as designed - but there is a story to fix it already being worked on.

Thank you sir. That’s a relief to know.

Thanks, Katie, for bringing this up.

I seem to be having the same issue. All of a sudden, the roster is no longer showing for me in Scoutbook Plus. I am registered as a committee member, and I’m not sure what changed or what I should do on my end.

Would appreciate any guidance on whether this is part of the same issue and if there is anything I can try.

@TerenceKwok - did you see the post by Donovan ?

Hello- I am having the same issue mentioned in this thread. Browser: Chrome. I cannot see the Roster tab and I need to enter adventures to prepare for rank advancement next week. Thank you for any advice that you have.

@MeganBrown5

As just a committee member you do not have the correct permissions to enter advancement. If you are entering advancements for the pack, are you serving as Unit Advancement Chair? If so, a Key 3 member needs to give you that functional role via Permissions Manager in Scoutbook Plus.

Thank you. Are den leaders able to enter adventure completion? I am a den leader, and it looks like my position was removed from within Scoutbook Plus. Long story, but my membership lapsed and I had to get added back to my unit while we were also undergoing recharter, and all of my permissions reset. I’ll connect with my Pack leadership to get my position added back.

@MeganBrown5

Yes, Den Leaders can update advancement for their den but you are registered as a Committee Member, not a Den Leader. If you should be registered as a Den Leader your Charter Org Rep can use Permission Manager to change your registered position then you can be assigned to a den.
