Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I am the Advancement Chair for a newly merged Family troop. I’ve created some reports using the Report Builder Designer that worked fine when I was the Scoutmaster of the girls troop, but in the new Family Troop, some of the newer Scouts aren’t showing up in the reports and I’m not sure why.
I have most of the Scouts selected below, though I do have some inactive Scouts unselected. I have a few Scouts who are active and checked below, but do NOT show up on the report when it is run. This is for the Greater Yosemite council and an example of one Scout who is missing is BSA ID #142143065.
Am I doing something wrong? I tried adding a BSA Join Date. I tried running the report in an Incognito window, but no luck.
I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green envelope > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
Another option is for a Unit Admin in Legacy Scoutbook to use Connection Manager, click on the adult’s name then select at least View Advancement. This will generate the required permissions to see all the Scouts in Report Builder.
I am trying to run reports and only my adults are showing up. I just added some events where I added adults and scouts to it. The adults show up and the scouts do not. If I run scouts only my report is blank.
