More Malicious moderation instead of conversation

I appologize @Stephen_Hornak ,
I was mid-reply to your comment on Thread closed mid-reply when the thread was closed rather than permit further constructive discussion… which is ironic as that thread was in itself a continuation on Cant find or add awards which was maliciously closed for the same.

I agree. Council should have notified as well. However, that doesn’t excuse National from the responsibility to simply release information out to their volunteers when it is important.

In this case, the closing of the NOVA and SUPERNOVA awards early without notification is a BUG. I even took the time to look-up the definition of a BUG.
“A software bug, also known as a defect or fault, is a flaw in a computer program that causes it to malfunction or behave in an unexpected way. These flaws can result from coding errors, design oversights, or unexpected interactions with other software.”
This BUG, has caused the software to behave in a way unexpected by its users and its published timeline. As it is still a BUG and still not functional, we are well within our responsibilities to discuss it, to bring it to the attention of our users. and to inform others to communicate with their councils.

Continuing to malicously close threads instead of being KIND, HELPFUL, COURTEOUS, and TRUSTWORTHY will not help us all understand the cause, find a solution, and discuss the needs of the community.
