National Outdoor Achievement Award - scout not eligible error message

I was able to record this award for one scout but could not for another scout in our troop. They are in the same patrol, crossed over on the same date, have been in the troop for a couple years. Their records are very similar yet I was unable to record this particular award for one of them in advancements.scouting.org. ID number 136585361 for this scout. Can someone help get this recorded in the system, please. And is this being worked on for future recording? I found other instances of this issue from several months ago.

Thanks for the help - Heidi

@HeidiKenkel - there is nobody on the forum that can record this for you. I think this is in the backlog to be fixed. Please watch the change log, although I wonder if perhaps it is a version thing where it was started in legacy scoutbook

Thanks for the message. I had noticed on past entries on this topic that people put in IDs for help in getting this updated. So I’ll just continue to try periodically to get this recorded. I attempted this for each of these scouts on Monday night (it was not started for either one prior to that.) I just tried again this morning for the scout that I had the issue with on Monday and it is still not allowing it. So, I’ll try again in the future.

@HeidiKenkel is this the retired Medal? Are you putting a date before the retirement in SB+?

I am not trying to log the medal. This is the National Outdoor Achievement Award (camping segment in particular) that I’m trying to record. This is an active award.

@HeidiKenkel so what exactly happens?

From the Scout’s individual record in internet advancement, I clicked on the awards section and then in the National Outdoor Achievement Award (Camping). None of the requirements are automatically filled in based on the Scoutbook records so I started with the first one which is First Class rank. Once I added the date and then the save button, the message “Error This requirement does not exist in user record.” is displayed at the top of the screen.

@HeidiKenkel ok let me see
