Need help obtaining an advancement report

My troop is updating its plaque listing all our past Eagle scouts, and I’m trying to obtain the official Eagle BOR date for one particular scout who was previously part of the unit.

For all the other scouts, I was able to use the report in SB+ called “Scouts BSA History Report By MemberID”. However, for this one scout, I get an error like this:

Transcription:

The information is unavailable. Try again or report this to the forums (81.5)

ref: PD-20260318152725-507512-794680

The ID number of the scout is . I can also privately provide name, DOB, and other details to someone with privileged access if they can help me get the information I need. It could be possible that I have the wrong member ID or a duplicate.

Thank you

How long ago was the scout part of the unit? I noticed in the past that some older Member IDs don’t generate a Scouts BSA History report. In my case, I think the scout finished prior to when SB was bought by then-BSA, so it might not be the same situation as yours.

I noticed that same issue, where there’s a cutoff date before which the report doesn’t work. However, this particular scout came well after that cutoff date. There are at least 24 other scouts between him and the cutoff date, for which I was able to run the report.

@Scouter123 - what you can do to verify the scout information is go to my.scouting.org then unit > organization manager then in reports look for this

then in that report you will want the filter and set your dates accordingly

Then click submit
The records for my unit go back as far as 1999

This solved the issue. I had the wrong member number. Thank you
