I am being told by my Council that while JTE no longer exists and a paper document, it is in scoutbook+ and my.scouting.org. I see on the unit dash board that there is a Unit Metrics, but not much information on how things are calculated, and i don’t want to just go off of assumptions. one of the questions i have is why does the Program section show month to date, and year to date, when the metrics says Cubs will be based on the Last 12 months. not that that helps as a good chunk of my cubs got rank early last year, or crossed over to troop. i am glad that it does show my AOL’s that ranked up and crossed over last week. What are the little Icons, the minus sign and Scout symbol, is there a third?
@RobertWillhelm- the forums are not the proper venue for training on unit metrics.. That is something that your council should assist with.
If my Council could train me i wouldn’t be asking here.

then where is the training resource, it has to come from somewhere.

“Metrics” are for commissioners - if you had questions I would start by asking your unit commissioner

this metric is available at the key 3 level, we do not have a unit commissioner.
This is not something we can assist with. The volunteers that monitor the forums have been told they are for technical questions only. Questions about training need to go to your Council. Since this has been pointed out as a commissioner tool and you don’t have a unit commissioner, try your District or Council commissioner.

@RobertWillhelm- that is present for every unit but the metric stuff is a commissioner thing and it is set up with what they were looking for. I am not sure why you are continuing to argue with every post.
Because you have much more visibility to the Teams that work on these systems, and I want you to feel the frustrations we the lowly user feel, so that you can pass it on to them. Nataional is using this data to judge Councils and Units, and have made it available to units, so we need to know how and why, its saying what its saying.
@RobertWillhelm- i am a volunteer and have no visibility to anything. The suac have no visibility to the my.scouting.org team that i am aware of
the data is also fed from Scoutbook+
