I have two issues.
This is are first time with the 2025 version, Eagle Application. I can pull it fine but when I send it to the Scout the report showed up, with the Merit Badge dates messed up. My husband feel that the fonts are to big and only show the first digit for Month, Day and year. Which is a 0 or
Also the Cub history does not show up on the application. Council says that he does not have a 2nd ID# and he does not have any Cub history. I asked what proof we need to fix the missing data and I have not gotten an answer.
I was hoping to attach the image.
Thanks for all your help
Thanks Susie T
@SusanThor what are you using to view the PDF? Are you using Acrobat Reader?
There is barely any cub history on the Eagle App (just do you have AOL) - so not sure what you are trying to say there
Were you a Cub Scout?
Were you a Webelos Scout?
and Yes, Did you earn the Arrow of Light Award?
Yes, has to open and print on an apple phone. I asked him to open on a computer and it looked right but I guess when he sent it to Mom to print from her phone it printed messed up.
If that cub data was not there then he was not a cub scout under that BSA # - he might have another in a different council. The scout can also enter the data themself on the application easily.
Yes most native phone apps are not great at pdf form printing
Okay, I was afraid of that so we will try to think out of the box to get it printed.
Thanks for your help
The free Acrobat reader for iPhone opens and displays the 2025 Eagle Application properly. The built in Apple PDF viewer does not render it properly.
The questions about Cub Scouts are only answered if Scoutbook has a Cub Scout membership and record of earning AOL for the Scout. The question about completing 5th grade cannot be filled in because Scoutbook does not know the answer.
Thank you so much. I figured out that I can go to print application and instead save to pdf. When I send that to the family they can print it correctly from the phone.
Thanks to you and DonvanMcNeil for helping
Good - so you know - Scouts and Parents have access to the Eagle Application from their accounts
Keep in mind that using Print to PDF converts the app from a fillable PDF where the Scout can add additional information such as references to a static PDF that can’t be modified.
No, I did not know that.
Thank you, because they could not get to open right on the phone to print it. I added the additional info so I could send you a PDF that could not be edited. That way she could print from Moms phone.
