New Scouts not Receiving Emails - III

Hi Team,

I am facing the same issue I faced back in May where Scouts created their Youth accounts in my.Scouting and could successfully log in to Scoutbook (done so from a desktop/browser NOT the App), but they were not appearing in the list of Scouts that could be emailed through SB (Send Messages area).

As we are registering multiple new Scouts into our Troop, I suspect we may face this issue with several Scouts. Currently I am facing the issue with the following Scout:

SB User ID: 14292796 / Member ID: 141647026

I also checked Scoutbook Plus and her email address is already there so it looks like that populated correctly from my.scouting…

Hoping you can help with this and as we finish the remaining Youth registrations I suspect I may have additional requests for help with the same issue (just like our AoLs back in May) :slight_smile: .

There was no e-mail in Scoutbook. I have synced it into Scoutbook.

I had checked before messaging and I could already see the scout’s email in Scoutbook Plus. So it seems the emails are not pulling into Scoutbook for whatever reason. Anyway, I’ll be in touch if we need to do this for any other new youth as they get added to our Troop.

The email ID is already showing in Scoutbook Plus, the member has her own youth account in my.scouting and has logged in to Scoubook using her own ID and password via a browser (not the mobile app). I watched her do it :slight_smile:

This one is strange because when he logs into Scoutbook (from browser) we only see his SB ID and not his member ID, but I can see he has his own account in my.Scouting and that is where I got his Member ID. I also see his email address in Scoutbook Plus.

@JamieWaskey that should be fixed - I assume that scout user name is LastnameFirstname mix?
