Is this just being removed from Scoutbook? Or was it a mistake/bug to mark it as no longer earnable? It is still available: Scout Ranger Program - Youth & Young Adult Programs (U.S. National Park Service)

So does that mean it will no longer be recognized on scout book?
Awards that are not in Award Central are not official National awards - so they will not be in Scoutbook

That’s disappointing. It means we have to keep a separate tracker of many awards that aren’t considered central/national. More work for volunteers. How does an award become recognized as an “official” award?
Contact your Council’s professional staff and ask them to open a ticket to have it added to Awards Central.
How is it not official? The patch literally has the scout logo on it?
We have no control over what is on Awards Central. This is the source IT has been told to use for awards that are supported by Scoutbook. Your Council staff can open a ticket to have it added to Awards Central as the SUAC does not have contact with that team.
