Older scouts record got removed from scoutbook. How to retrieve their information?

Recently I found some of our older scouts got removed from scoutbook roster. However, some newly promoted Eagle Scouts are still in the system even though they also aged out.
How much longer does scoutbook keep older scouts in the system?
How do we retrieve information for those are not showing in system anymore?

Unit Admins can get reports on Scouts who are no longer on the unit roster by going to:

My Dashboard → Reports Menu → Scouts BSA History Report [or other program History Report]

They will need the Scout’s BSA member ID number and the Scout’s last name.
