Parent inviting scout to accoubt?

I am a troopleader and can not find any recent instructions to advise parents as to how to invite their scout to scoutbook. Help!

It used to be that the parent needed to allow this access from their scoutbook account. Has this changed?

@LesleyMorrey The parent needs to help the Scout create an account at my.Scouting.org.
