unable to print merit badge cards given at COH
We need more info. What is happening.
In Scout Book Legacy when completing the purchase order, you had the option to print merit badge cards, that would be given to the Scout.
In Scout Book Plus only select units can create purchase orders.
I would like to be able to print the cards that would show the Scout name, completion date and leader’s name. Cards come in sheets from the Scout Shop, so printing can be done.
What do you mean only select units can print the cards? They are available from the purchase orders at Roster → Advancements → To Purchase
When I did a search in Scout Book for “ how to create a purchase order” this is the response I received.
@JohnBeattie - I am not a select unit and this is what I see:
The help is out of date. We have requested it be fixed. All units have access to POs in Scoutbook Plus. Go to Roster → Advancements → To Purchase
Yes I do that and when I select to create purchase order I receive a red circle with a line through it like a do not enter sign.
I appreciate you working on a Saturday.
Is this a permission issue?
I am the Scoutmaster.

@JohnBeattie- is there actually anything to be purchased? The screenshot I posted is from an existing open po.
Not at this time so will attempt again when more awards are earned

@JohnBeattie - in order to print the cards you would have to go to a closed order that had the items>
Our unit is able to print the Merit Badge cards, but it is now done by going to Scoutbook Plus—>Roster—>Clicking the “Advancement” tab—>Clicking the “To Purchase” tab—>Scrolling down to Purchase Orders—>Clicking on the “View Order” button—>The using the “Print Certificate” option at the bottom.
However, these new certificates are no longer printing the date of completion when they print out. They used to do this when the functionality was still under the original Scoutbook site. Anyone have any news on if/when this will be fixed?
Also, our unit leader signature is not appearing on the cards. So, he has to sign each card by hand when we have a court of honor. Anyone know the fix for this issue?

@ShaneMyers - you have to turn the toggles on for the signature and date
I keep getting this, and I’m an Assistant Scoutmaster and the Advancement Chair. Had no problems doing it through old scoutbook. Have no clue what to do.
@JasonSeybold I had this error pop up several times, solution was to logout of scoutbook, log back in and then retrying the reports.
Tried a few times, get the same message.
@JasonSeybold- do you have the correct profile listed in the upper right ?
