The “Record Progress” menu seems to disappear from the roster navbar in Plus when the screen is reduced in width, or when viewed on a mobile browser. This happens with both our pack and our troop. Once the migration is complete, this will effectively prevent us from using our phones to record advancement during meetings. Is this an actual bug, or is this by design?
The two screenshots attached were taken from the same browser (Chrome on Windows), with the same scout selected, just moments apart - the only thing that changed is the width of the window, for demonstration of mobile view.
@GwendyDarling - ok… in the compressed view select some scouts by tapping on them and at that point a red box should show up that says choose an action. Tap on that and let me know what it says. Beyond that the compressed menu in scoutbook plus on a mobile screen has been that way for several years.
I’m embarassed to admit it, but even in your screenshot I didn’t see “Record Progress”, because my ADHD brain just skipped that label altogether, seeing it as a section header, and “Run Report” as the only clickable option, as it had an icon in the front. I do have “Record Progress” as an option on my phone, and everything works as expected. So, the only problem here the whole time was my brain, LOL. Maybe pass on a suggestion to the dev team to put an icon in front of “Record Progress” for others who have a brain like mine. Thank you for your help and your patience.
