I am Pack CC with Key 3 and COR Delegate access. I can move leaders to new positions in the position manager (Both in my.scouting and scoutbook+) but I cannot figure out how to end a position for a leader. If I drag and drop the person to a new position it gives them a second position instead of dropping the first. In scoutbook+ I tried to just end the unwanted position and I am getting an error message even though the leader is already assigned to a second position. How am I supposed to end a position?
@RachelVirden you cannot end a registration. What is the MID of the Scouter (no names) and what are the postions
You should not be a Key 3 Delegate if you are Committee Chair.
We suggest moving adults who are registered but not participating to Unit Scouter Reserve.
That is what I did - I moved an adult (#122692559) from committee member to Unit Scouter Reserve but now he is showing as both and no clear way to remove him from the Committee Member position. I get the provided error message.
I have asked the developers to investigate.
The developers looked at this and believe this was a registration issue, not caused by Scoutbook. They suggest you contact your Council registrar and have them expire the Committee Member position for this individual.
What is the acceptable way to move someone from one position to another? The drag and drop option on my.scouting just creates a second position for the person and doesnt end the first. I am not seeing a place to enter a date to end a position on my.scouting or scoutbook plus.
If my.scouting is causing the issue, that is a bug. Your council will need to submit a ticket.
FYI, registrars see the same issue. move 1 person to a new position and the old one is still there. told has to do with lapse period.
