I have a den chief that needs to be removed from my pack. How can this be done?
Separately, I have a different den chief who is associate with the den in Scoutbook, but is not showing in Scoutbook+ when I try to edit the den, so I can’t assign him.
@BRIANCRETZMEYER on the 2nd - it is likely the scout is not a DC in SB+ = I would just go through that process for the Scout - Add Individual on roster
That appears to be working to add the scout. I didn’t realize I need to add on both platforms. Thanks!
Any thoughts on deleting?
Legacy now should only be used for messages and that is about it.
On deleting I am trying to recall
To remove the den chief, click their name on the Scoutbook Plus roster. Then, click the little pencil by “program leadership”, then the pencil by the den chief position, add an end date, and click save.
Regarding deleting, that scout is not listed in Scoutbook+, just in legacy.
I spoke too soon regarding adding the scout, I am getting an error “Youth already has a den chief poisition in the denId(s) 275232”. But he is not listed in the den in Scoutbook+, just legacy.

If they are only in legacy, you’ll need the troop leadership to put an end date on the position.
