I thought I was deleting two scouts that were not participating this year, but I accidentally deleted my entire roster and all my events. Is there any way to undo that? I spent HOURS creating my events for the year.
@AlexisMcNutt_Unis- are you certain that everything is gone ? I would try an in-cognito session and or clear cache and cookies for the scouting.org related sites.
It looks like I removed all my scouts from my den rather than just the two scouts that were not participating. The scouts are all still in scoutbook, but they are now “unassigned”. How do I re-assign them to my den?
If I do that, will my calendar events come back? Currently, they are not there, but maybe they would return if I reassigned?
@AlexisMcNutt_Unis- cub scout den management has to be done in advancements.scouting.org. It would be edit den in the roster page
I see that - it looks like by unassigning my scouts, I have deleted my den - there is no wolf den anymore in scoutbook. If I create a new wolf den I have a sinking feeling that will create the den but NOT give me back all my carefully added events. Is that true?
All den management should now be in Scoutbook plus, not in classic Scoutbook. If you force a refresh, is your den actually missing in SB+? It’s not quite clear whether you’re talking about SB+ or classic Scoutbook in your posts, so it’s hard to provide any clear recommendations/assist with diagnosis.
I’m using scoutbook plus. Everything on scoutbook plus now.
looks the entire den is gone - I don’t have the option to add to a wolf den - so I’d need to recreate it - but I doubt that saves my calendar events.
Do you see the den in legacy scoutbook at all?
If not, here’s a long shot idea…
In legacy Scoutbook, go to one of the scout’s memberships and remove the end date from the membership in the den. Then go to Scoutbook Plus using an incognito window and see if the den appears. If not, add the end date back.
