Scout Names Not Showing in Activities to Approve

Some names of scouts do not show up in the list of Activities that are pending approval from a leader.

In addition, I note that the Pending Merit Badges show first and last name of the scout, but Activities shows only the first name of the scout (when the name shows up).

@GarrettGreen so is this you logged in?

Yes, logged in as role of ASM.

@GarrettGreen are these Troop events or personal events for the scouts?

@DonovanMcNeil Personal events.

I would say leave in that state so staff can see it - but check with another to see if they see the same thing.

and on Plain roster the scouts names appear correct?

@DonovanMcNeil Yes, on plain roster, all scouts names appear.

@GarrettGreen some issue was found - Scouting America IT does not release schedules. Watch the Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of the fix.

Thanks for the update!

@DonovanMcNeil I see a note that appears to reference a fix for this issue in the July 8th update:

I wanted to check if this would only apply to new activities entered or if I should expect to see names for previously entered activities. I did a empty cache and hard refresh but don’t see a change. The names that didn’t show up still do not.

@GarrettGreen I think it was a whole fix - if a parent is still seeing the issue what is the Member ID of the parent and what is the date of an event/name of event that is effected?

On my login, the same personal events for the same scouts shown in the screenshot above in this thread. We left them unapproved so staff could see the issue.

@GarrettGreen have you logged in an incognito window or tried a hard refresh?

oh the names issue? not the RSVP issue?

@DonovanMcNeil Yes, the names issue.

have you tried an incognito window?

Yes, tried incognito window, hard refresh, and alternate browser.

@GarrettGreen Developers sign in as you and there is no issue. So it sounds like a cache issue on your side. we can setup a screenshare if needed.

@DonovanMcNeil I think we may need to screen share.
