Scoutbook merit badge - half awarded in yellow - seems locked

Hi, several scouts now with current scoutbook version have yellow in some merit badges and are fully awarded, MBC approved and Blue card signed, yet other MB’s for same scouts are blue which indicates fully complete and are fully complete,

question: how to get scout book to recognize fully complete and indicate in blue ( remove the yellow tag). basically

@RonScorese - you should be looking at advancements.scouting.org which will show this:

It’s hard for the SUAC volunteers to provide feedback without the Member IDs for the scouts (no names, please!) and the relevant MBs.

Are we talking about classic Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting) or SB+ (advancements.scouting)?

The “yellow” indicates that it is Awarded (which can only happen after it’s Leader Approved). The “blue” indicates that it’s Leader Approved and has not yet been marked Awarded. I’m a little confused what you’re trying to accomplish regarding the colors?

@RonScorese - and here is a completed MB

It sounds like you are looking at Legacy Scoutbook @RonScorese - and Yellow meant Awarded

If you are seeing the different colors in Scoutbook (legacy), just ignore it.

thanks, seems we see scoutbook which is not accurate, I am reviewing advancements.scouting.org . this seems to been my root issue, not looking in right place, thank you all

Nearly the only times to be looking at classic Scoutbook currently are for MBCs who are signing off on MBs (using the MBC tools from their My Dashboard page), and for those who are using the Payments Log feature for their unit. Otherwise, nearly everything is now in SB+ (advancements.scouting).

Hi
'For needs approval and awarding report, needs purchase also, do we still use scoutbook? Reports in Advancement.scouyting seems to be missing this

Thank you

Ron

think I just found this under rosters, not reports

@RonScorese - this is what you should be using now
