Something is going on with Scoutbook Plus and I can’t figure it out.
I can login to:
On my.scouting.org I am listed as a new member coordinator (trained) and a committee member (trained).
On scoutbook.scouting.org I have the following positions listed:
- Troop Admin (current)
- Assistant Scoutmaster (current)
- New Member Coordinator (current)
- Merit Badge Counselor (current)
- Committee Member (past)
On advancements.scouting.org (scoutbook plus) I have 4 profiles:
- Parent of Child 1
- Parent of Child 2
- Merit Badge Counselor
- New Member Coordinator
Over the weekend, I added a new camping activity. For some reason, it wouldn’t let me add scouts to the camping activity. At first it said it wasn’t linked and that eventually went away. I contacted the Committee Chair and the Scoutmaster and they made me a Troop Admin (on scoutbook,scouting.org) and I added myself as a scoutmaster for my son’s patrol (on scoutbook.scouting.org). Last night I was able to add only the scouts in the patrol I am an assistant scoutmaster for, so a bunch of kids were left out. Today, the hourglass just spins when I go to the activity log. It does this on both my desktop computer, my iphone, and my android.
How do I resolve this activity log issue? Why aren’t my roles synchronized between the 3 platforms? Anyone have any suggestions?
@MichaelKennedy6 you are only registered as a MBC and NMC. In Legacy SB other positions now can be given. The Unit Admin in Legacy SB, might not have had enough time to fully sync to SB+ yet.

Thanks for the response. Just so I am clear, Are the positions on the roster report from my.scouting and position in the drop down menu in the top right corner of SB+ pushed down from SB Legacy? I was assigned Troop Admin and Assistant Scoutmaster in SB legacy yesterday. Is it your thought that we are waiting for these positions to sync up 24+ hours later?

Well positions in Legacy never Show in SB+ - it only shows real positions you are registered for. Right now it does honor positions from Legacy. Other than Admin, positions in Legacy give you no rights at all, Legacy is based on Connections that have to be established with each Scout
@DonovanMcNeil @MichaelKennedy6 I have Activity Log issues as well. I am a registered ASM, MBC, and Patrol Advisor who has created Activity Logs as recently as this weekend. Today I do not see ANY activity logs – camping, hiking, service hours – for my troop, regardless of which month I choose. I just see the cute little four spinning dots icon. Has there been a recent technical update to the feature which may have caused this problem?
All my activity logs are blank and the circle is just constantly spinning like it is trying to load data, but it can’t.

Have you tried a Hard Refresh (Shift + Page refresh) or an Incognito window - it works fine for me
I did and it didn’t work. I’m having the issue on 3 different devices. Something changed in the last 20 minutes because I can see the activity log now and edit it. Before, the hour glass was just spinning.
@DonovanMcNeil that fix (Shift + Refresh) worked for me. Thank you. Glad to see some data again, both in activity logs and RSVPs. Any idea what caused that to be needed? Because it’s clearly not just one person’s computer
