Can you pay off your entire Scout Account Balance on the new Scout Book Plus Stripe Integration?
@GarrettHay - no as the stripe configuration is a per transaction payment.
That is a bummer. It makes crediting the Scout account functionality essentially null and void. That messes everything up. For example, you are charged for a $50 outing, and given a $10 credit for gas. You technically only owe $40.00 per you account, but you can only pay $50.00 per the outing transaction. Do you have any insight in to this work flow?
@GarrettHay - the best way to approach the scenario you have is to post the net charge with a note stating the 10 credit
Stripe is set up on a per transaction basis, not an account basis - that is why it functions in that manner
That makes sense. Although, sometimes people want reimbursements for say, “the ice cream social” to their scout account. That will always make the numbers wonky. But it’s doable. I appreciate it.
