Several 21+ leaders are flagged as youth in messaging

The following adult (21+) leaders are categorized as children of an unnamed parent in the new SB+ messaging system. It’s causing problems because messages cannot be sent to any of them without including two other leaders who are not also flagged as youth, even if it’s not appropriate to include them in a given message. Screenshots below. On the “Selection via Adults” tab, they are listed as (unselectable) children of an blank-named parent at the top, and then further on down the list they’re listed as leaders. They’re also listed under the “Selection via Youth” tab, with this blank-named parent. The ONLY thing that these 12 adults have exactly in common is that I’ve granted them each “create message” permissions in the new Permission Manager.

@GwendyDarling yes this is a known reported issue

It seems that an additional symptom of this bug is that leaders on this list do not get copies of the e-mails they send out when they’ve selected themselves as one of the recipients, even when sufficient other adults not affected by this bug are included.

There is a known issue with large distribution lists. The workaround is to continue using legacy Scoutbook for sending messages until this is fixed.

Watch Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of a fix.
