Sub Unit Calendar Invite Leader Selection

When adding calendar invites for sub units (dens) and going to select participants, When going to select the Leaders, it selects ALL Leaders in the unit, not just the ones associated with the den.

When selecting the parents, it only selects the parents associated with the den, which is what should happen.

It seems like it should be only selecting the Leaders associated with the den and not all the Leaders.

@DarrenFerlazzo currently this is intentional - as not all units assign leaders to sub-units in SB. This was the “best” solution for the hand IT was dealt on this. There are on-going conversations about it.

I THINK it is the 2 deep issue. All events have to have 2 leaders present. Many Sub-units have 1 leader assigned. By inviting all, it gets around this calendar block.

I completely understand that and it’s appreciated. In our case, we have 35+ registered leaders so every time a den setup an event, everyone gets invited. It does pose a communication challenge as people are getting unwanted communications and are opting out of email communication.

I hope there is a better way to manage this in the near future. The system already flags it needs a minimum leaders are need for communications.
