Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have been informed that tracking camping, hiking, and service hours is done through Internet advancement. If that is the case, will the events created in Internet Advancement show up in Scoutbook. I am trying to figure out if we have to do enter information on both platforms.
Why wouldn’t Scoutbook calendar entries translate into Internet advancement so scouts can receive credit?
The activity logs are still stored in the SB Database but the User Interface has been moved to the Internet Advancement platform.
Scoutbook calendar entries have never translated to activity logs, even when the logs used the SB User Interface. There is a long term plan to unify the calendar, but at this time we cannot say when this will be ready for release.
