Training.scouting.org NOT working

My wife is trying to renew her YPT. Training.scouting.org will not open on a web browser on her laptop, will not open from Scoutbook training link (on iPhone 11), nor will it open properly from the myScouting app. Only once did it get to the YPT course page and it does not load when selecting to resume course. She has been trying all morning with no success. When doing it through the Scoutbook app she got a “pop-up blocker” alert so that needs to be fixed also.

she should be able to log in via my scouting

I get. 504 error when going top ypt. any one else.?

I’m getting the 504 error too.
The Chatbot is really helpful, isn’t it?

What does the chat not have to do with taking YPT?

What browser & platform are you using, @ChristopherSaengvani and @CharlesBrubaker?

I have tried Mac and Windows. Chrome and firefox. The link to the training end in 504 error.

Same issue here, I have tried every browser. Cleared cache, cleared history, turned off antivirus, turned off all extensions. Simply times out

Ditto. YPT training module won’t load

Tested in Chrome / incognito /IE and Edge

This page isn’t working

training.scouting.org took too long to respond.

HTTP ERROR 504

I’ve tried Android OS with default browser as well as Firefox;
Windows 10 with Firefox, Chrome, and Vivaldi,
Linux Mint 19 with Firefix, Chromium, and Vivaldi

I was trying to get help. I made the mistake of thinking that it might actually have a solution.

@RonaldBlaisdell - looks like the training site are hard down with a 504

Same issues, I did the YPT around 4pm est today and not only does it say i havent completed it but wont even allow me to open it to see what it is missing or if i have too retake it. Livid. I’ll try again tomorrow i guess.

Did anyone ever get a solution for this?

@Stephen_Hornak invoked the volunteer who has contacts with the folks who maintain the training side. It appears to be an issue with the training server side not responding (the 504 error), so we won’t see a solution until the IT team is able to address the root problem at the server/service end.

Thank You Charley!

Knowing its a server side error helps a lot!

Servers are back up and functional.

Thanks, @RonaldBlaisdell!

Thank you, to all who got this in front of those who could fix the problem.
I’ve just finished my re-training.
