Training.scouting.org NOT working

Been trying to get onto the training site multiple times, getting error 504. I have tried on Win 10 in Edge and Firefox, on Win 11 on both edge and firefox, and on my galaxy s21 using chrome to no avail. Been trying for a few days and at different hours of the day no luck same result.

I got the same error in the evening. It was good in the afternoon. I am in the middle of submitting MBC application but found I missed one training. It looks like I have to redo the application again tomorrow.

As of this morning, the issue appears to be resolved.

As of 8:30pm 10/04/22 cst it is still down for me and has been all day. In the Southeast U.S. if that matters.

I am also having this issue. I have tried using both Chrome and Opera, and have tried on both my computer and my phone. Membership id 14429496 if it helps

I know they are working on the system. It was down for much of the day. After I checked at 7:30 am ET.

Just a key 3 observation that it being recharter season it is now flooded with requests

All the more reason for this system to be more robust @Stephen_Hornak . We cannot place barriers in the way of new leadership. We already expect them to drink from a firehose to get started. I am trying to instill confidence and ease for new parents stepping into leadership for the first time. This is not demonstrating this. Nor is this site being transparent about these hiccups when they occur by not posting publicly what is happening. We are not instilling trust out of the gate.

How can we get notified that it is working again? Need my son to take online training .

ETA: Tested in both Firefox and Chrome in incognito/private browsing windows.

I have sent a message late last night to my DE, the Field Director, and the Scout Executive for my local council along with my District Committee Chair about this very important issue.

Yeah, I just poked someone at my council to see if the council can get BSA to commit more resources to getting this fixed and keeping it up for the volunteers whoa are trying to do the right thing.

Thanks @RonaldBlaisdell and @TimothyRogers for all of your work on getting this addressed. I know y’all catch a lot of the proverbial flying manure when stuff like this happens, but we in the trenches really appreciate your advocacy to get stuff resolved.
