Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have two Lion Den 6. I see both these dens in Scoutbook. I do not see these Dens in Scoutbook+, however they are both available to add unassigned scouts to.
We have our first Lion registered, and I added him to one of the Lions Den 6. The Den did not show up on the Scoutbook+ roster and the scout has completely disappeared from from Scoutbook+ roster. Even searching his name, he does not appear.
In Scoutbook, however, I do see the scout in one of the Lion Den 6.
Please, can someone help me delete the duplicate Den and make sure I can see our Lion Scout in Scoutbook+
In classic Scoutbook, when you click on each den, in the address bar, do the two dens have the same DenID at the end of the URL? It should look something like :
UnitID=#####&PatrolID=####
which is how it shows for troops.
This might identify whether it’s two separate dens or one den being displayed twice.
That’s good data. Hopefully one of the SUAC has an update on whether the previous bug for deleting duplicate sub-units has been resolved or is still outstanding. You should still be able to add scouts to the “correct” den from classic Scoutbook (I think) by using the Invite Members button in the den you’re adding them to.
Thank you. Yep, looks like the same issue. However, trying to add/reassign or any other similar action in Classic Scoutbook always sends me to Scoutbook+. And since neither of these duplicate Dens appear there, there is nothing else I can do. And neither of the duplicate Dens have an assigned leader or administrator.
