Two MIDs, please manage


I have a leader with two MIDs with nickname / legal name. Please manage them.

  1. 13149507 - current registration, current YPT, uses gmail to log in.
  2. 12860997 - expired registration, marked Do Not Use.

@DougWright that is fixed - I recommend that They contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up the children. When they look up the children, they want to check children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that children are connected to parent with Only the correct BSA member ID number

I have another parent who has not been able to log into Scoutbook or My.Scouting for years. Does she have more than one MID? More than one log in? Or operator error?

If she needs to reset her password, she should do it at my.Scouting using the chatbot (“Betty”). Or your council can do a direct password reset.

Please ask the local council to use their Registrar Tools to look up the child and check the child’s “relationships”. There is something weird there.

Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up his child with first initial “H.” Ask them to please remove him as parent under the secondary MID and add him as parent to H. under his primary MID:
